\n Collins, 45, who has been struggling with life in the jungle, was confronted by pop star Sinitta.\n<\/p>\n
\n It came after the campmates merged again after previously being split into two camps.\n<\/p>\n
\n The singer questioned Gemma\u2019s career and talent, referring to the TV personality as a \u201ccomedian\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n In her original series, Collins quit after three days because she struggled with the environment in Australia, but she has called her appearance on the South African version of the TV show a \u201credemption\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Sinitta asked the reality TV star about the musical Chicago, which Collins had been due to feature in as Matron \u201cMama\u201d Morton in 2022, but had to withdraw from the production due to a \u201cterrible injury\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n The singer, who has also featured in Chicago on stage, told Collins she thought the casting was a \u201cjoke announcement\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Collins replied: \u201cIt\u2019s not a joke, Sinitta, I auditioned for it fair and square.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cDid all the training and everything, had a voice coach.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Sinitta explains: \u201cI think you had just presented something, some awards, and fallen off the stage \u2013 it was like you were more of a comedian.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Comparing her to US socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor, Sinitta adds: \u201cVery camp, very glamorous.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cYou don\u2019t really do anything, but you make a great entrance and make everybody laugh.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know you could actually sing, dance and all that jazz.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and comedian Seann Walsh look shocked as they listened to the tense discussion.\n<\/p>\n
\n Gemma defended herself, saying: \u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019d get cast as Mama Morton in Chicago if you didn\u2019t pass the audition.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Speaking to the camera in a segment where she’s alone, Gemma said: \u201cI’m not a joke, darling.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI am not a joke.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI have done everything in my life on my own.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cSo I was just taken aback, but it was just a bit weird.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
