Questions over whether Meghan Markle<\/a> will pen a memoir of her own one day have always been rife. While the Duchess of Sussex herself previously indicated that she intended to write a book in the future, a source has now suggested that this may not be the case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meghan previously suggested during a podcast appearance last year that she could see herself putting pen to paper, following the commercial success of Prince Harry<\/a>‘s explosive memoir, Spare, which reportedly earned him \u00a327million, including an advance of at least \u00a314million, according to The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Suggesting that this is now off the table, a source told OK! Magazine<\/a>: “Meghan and Harry are cautious about everything they do and say to uphold the standards of the monarchy. Those [memoirs] are the types of projects they don’t want to do.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Speaking about the huge commercial value a memoir from Meghan could have, a source previously told Closer Online<\/a>: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone\u2019s mad to land Meghan\u2019s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “We\u2019re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography \u2013 it\u2019s going to get to the point where she can\u2019t say no. And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They added: “She\u2019s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth \u2013 and why shouldn\u2019t she?”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But what do you think?
