But recent years have also seen a sustained comeback \u2013 admittedly from a very small base \u2013 for the cassette format too.\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/entertainment\/music\/cassette-tapes-making-a-comeback\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One report last year<\/a>\u00a0suggested that US cassette sales would reach 600k units in 2025 as a whole, while\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.officialcharts.com\/chart-news\/best-selling-cassettes-singles-albums-2025\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official stats in the UK revealed 53% growth to 164k units<\/a>\u00a0that year. Now Discogs is getting in on the action with a limited-edition \u2018Cassette Player with Blank Tape\u2019.\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>It\u2019s a partnership with We Are Rewind, and it\u2019s\u00a0<em>very<\/em>\u00a0limited:\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/newreleases.discogs.com\/cassette-player\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">only 150 units are being sold<\/a>.
