A series of events celebrating David Bowie<\/a> have been announced in London, with the likes of Anna Calvi<\/a>, Adam Buxton<\/a> and Carlos Alomar set to appear. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n The \u2018Bowie Nights\u2019 season is due to take place at Lightroom in King\u2019s Cross, London, between May and September. It\u2019ll form part of the immersive venue\u2019s major new production, \u2018David Bowie: You\u2019re Not Alone\u2019<\/a>, which opens on April 22.<\/p>\n These cross-disciplinary dates will explore the life and work of the late icon, featuring major artists influenced by his work.<\/p>\n On May 19, Lightroom will host \u2018Jonathan Barnbrook On Designing Bowie\u2019 \u2013 a special talk by the renowned graphic designer who collaborated with Bowie on every album from 2002\u2019s \u2018Heathen\u2019<\/a> to 2016\u2019s \u2018Blackstar\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n Then, on May 26, \u2018Bowie Nights: Behind The Lens\u2019 is set to see six of the legend\u2019s photographers in conversation with author and journalist Miranda Sawyer. Geoff MacCormack, Kevin Cummins, Richard Young, Brian Aris, Denis O\u2019Regan and Chris Duffy will discuss select past works.<\/p>\n \u2018Adam Buxton\u2019s BUG Bowie Special\u2019 follows on June 17, July 2, 3 and 4. The comedian, podcaster and actor\u2019s live show at Lighroom will delve into Bowie\u2019s most iconic music videos.<\/p>\n \u2018Anna Calvi And Carlos Alomar In Conversation With Guitars\u2019 is scheduled for June 10. Calvi and Bowie\u2019s musical director, co-writer and guitarist Alomar are due to unpack the late star\u2019s songs in front of a live audience through a blend of discussion and musical demonstration.<\/p>\n A first musical performance has also been announced, too, with a unique cello recital by acclaimed composer and cellist Peter Gregson on September 3, 4 and 5.<\/p>\n As part of the \u2018Bowie Nights\u2019 programme, Lightroom will extend its opening hours on select Friday evenings. Each \u2018Bowie Late\u2019 will celebrate a different era of Bowie\u2019s career, beginning with the 1970s on May 1.
