Carey Mulligan<\/a> is sharing some rare comments about her family life on tour.<\/p>\n The Beef<\/em> actress, 40, made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em><\/a> and chatted with late night show host Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>, 58, about how she and her three kids \u2014 a daughter, whom she welcomed in 2023, son Wilfred, 8, and daughter Evelyn Grace, 10 \u2014joined husband Marcus Mumford<\/a>, 39, on the Mumford & Sons tour. During the conversation, Mulligan spoke about their life on tour on the 12-passenger bus.<\/p>\n Asked whether it operates like a rock and roll bus, the doting mom replied, “It’s a school bus. It very much does operate like a school bus.”<\/p>\n Although it doesn’t operate like a rock and roll bus, Mulligan added that they have a lot of fun during the tour.<\/p>\n “It’s great fun,” she said, adding that the kids “love it.”<\/p>\n The pair first met at a summer camp when he was 10 and she was 12, and became pen pals. They lost touch for about a decade before reconnecting and later began dating. In February 2011, Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> reported that the actress was seen at a private Mumford & Sons concert held in a basement in Nashville.<\/p>\n After just five months of dating, Mumford proposed to Mulligan in August 2011 while they were on vacation in Somerset, England. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the Sundance Film Festival, the actress spoke about how she balances parenting with work.<\/p>\n Mulligan, who plays the role of Nell Mortimer in the film The Ballad of Wallis Island<\/em>, revealed she brought her third baby<\/a> to set after giving birth.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen they sent it to me, I said I’d love to do it, but I will have like a 12-week-old baby,\u201d she told PEOPLE at the time. \u201cAnd they were just amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n Mulligan, who has not revealed the name of her daughter, added, \u201cShe came with us. She was upstairs in every house that we filmed in and I would just do the scene, go up, see her, feed her, and then come back down.\u201d<\/p>\n
