Ben Affleck <\/b><\/a>has handed over his portion of the interest on the Beverly Hills property he previously bought with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez<\/a> <\/b>to the pop star herself.<\/p>\n

Affleck, 53, and Lopez, 56, modified their property settlement agreement from their divorce, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/i>. (TMZ<\/span><\/a> was first to report the news.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe parties shall be responsible for any taxes arising from the transactions\/transfers,\u201d the docs state. \u201cThe parties agree that the transactions\/transfers shall constitute a transfer of property among spouses incident to divorce for federal income tax purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Affleck and Lopez bought the residence for $60 million in June 2023. Us Weekly <\/i>confirmed the next year that the pair put the house on the market amid their divorce. (Affleck and Lopez were married from 2022 to 2024. The exes split for good two decades after they originally called off their engagement in 2004.)<\/p>\n

The exes formally ended their marriage on Monday, January 6, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. In doing so, both parties \u201cagreed to divide all assets and liabilities\u201d to avoid further litigation and expense.\u00a0 Lopez, 55, keeps all [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThey decided to list the house very recently,\u201d a source exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i><\/span><\/a>in July 2023. \u201cThey thought they could sell it off-market but made a game-time decision in order to put more eyes on the property. They are in a rush to sell it. Ben especially wants to be done with the house. He was never happy there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nearly nine months later, Affleck and Lopez couldn\u2019t agree on a listing price for the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cJennifer thinks they can get more money for the home, so she wants to keep the price as is,\u201d a second insider told Us <\/i><\/span><\/a>in April 2025. \u201cThe real estate market is not there and it\u2019s not selling.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Affleck, the second source claimed that he was in a hurry to off-load the property.<\/p>\n

\u201cBen wants to get rid of it because their divorce is over and he wants to cut all ties and have it be done,\u201d the second insider told Us<\/i>. \u201cHe just wants it over and to sell it. He wants to reduce the price.\u201d<\/p>\n

The house was taken off the market<\/span><\/a> nearly three months later in July 2025 when the listing expired.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Lopez finalized their divorce<\/span><\/a> in February 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers,\u201d he told GQ <\/i><\/span><\/a>the next month, breaking his silence on their divorce. \u201cAs happens in relationships, you don\u2019t always have the same attitude towards these things.\u201d<\/p>\n
