Joining her parents Zara and Mike Tindall, the expressive 12-year-old went through a rollercoaster of emotions as she watched the races on Ladies Day.<\/p>\n

Smiling, gasping, frowning – and sometimes even passionately pointing at the tracks – she was in full fan mode amid the festivities at the Grand National, channelling her notoriously ‘cheeky’ cousin Prince Louis<\/a>, who is just as known for his antics.<\/p>\n

In one instance, the daughter of Princess Anne, 44, jokingly frowned at her mini-me daughter’s theatrics, as the pair shared a playful moment.<\/p>\n

It was an eventful day for the duo, who donned matching suits for day two of the highly-anticipated racing event in\u00a0Merseyside.<\/p>\n

The King’s niece was sophisticated in a pastel pink blazer with matching trousers and a chic white blouse.<\/p>\n

And following in her mother’s example, 12-year-old Mia was smart in a blue pinstripe suit with a trendy high-collared top.<\/p>\n

The ex-rugby player, 47, was dapper in a beige blazer and black trousers as he smiled in photos with his wife and daughter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The joined a myriad of glamorous racegoers, who after weeks of preening and outfit preparation, amped up the style stakes on Friday as they descended on Aintree for day two of the three-day Grand National<\/a> Festival.<\/p>\n

Pulling out all the stops,\u00a0revellers put their best fashion foot forward in an effort to take home the coveted best-dressed\u00a0Ladies Day award.<\/p>\n

And racing fans certainly gave judges a tough job as they arrived in a flurry of precarious heels, statement hats and dramatic dresses.<\/p>\n

Early arrivals at the racecourse in Merseyside, set the bar high, putting on a glamorous display in figure-hugging lace outfits and colourful fascinators.<\/p>\n

More than 150,000 racegoers are expected over the three-day festival, which hosts the showpiece Grand National on Saturday afternoon, when around\u00a0\u00a3250million is expected to be gambled on the race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Organisers at The Jockey Club said crowds for the first day of racing topped 28,000, up 22 per cent on last year, while more than\u00a045,000 usually descend on Aintree for Ladies Day.<\/p>\n

Unlike Royal Ascot<\/a>,\u00a0which adopts stricter rules on what to wear, the festival takes a more relaxed approach and tells attendees to simply come ‘dressed to feel your best’.<\/p>\n

The Tindalls are known to enjoy a day at the races \u2013 and were in high spirits at Cheltenham last month.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the final Gold Cup Day, former rugby ace Mike was snapped gazing adoringly at his royal wife Zara, who was dressed to impress in a chocolate velvet suit, teamed with a lime silk\u00a0blouse<\/a> and a rose-detailed green hat.<\/p>\n

Looking equally stylish in a check suit and blue shirt, the sports star appeared\u00a0reluctant to take his eyes off her as they posed up a storm at the\u00a0Gloucestershire racecourse.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adding a touch of glitz to her outfit, Princess Anne<\/a>‘s daughter completed her glamorous look with a\u00a0set of delicate drop golden earrings.<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales’s 71-year-old mother arrived arm-in-arm with Zara, carrying a chic Hermes ostrich skin Birkin bag with an eye-watering price tag of approximately \u00a320,000, and sporting\u00a0the same \u00a3115 Hicks & Brown fedora\u00a0Kate\u00a0once wore at Sandringham in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the Princess wasn’t present at Wednesday’s occasion, Carole was still clearly comfortable in the company of her daughter’s in-laws and was even seen throwing her arms around no-nonsense Princess Anne\u00a0\u2013 who is not usually one for public displays of affection.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But Carole’s appearance on Zara’s arm only further highlighted Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s apparent exile from royal life amid the ongoing fallout surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office.<\/p>\n

The York sisters were once the ones proudly displayed by the King’s niece. Beatrice joined her cousin Zara in 2024, while Eugenie last joined the royal fold at Cheltenham in 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
