Evanescence have returned with a new single, Who Will You Follow<\/em>, the first preview of their forthcoming album Sanctuary<\/em>, which arrives on June 5.<\/p>\n

The track was co\u2011written and produced by alternative producer Zakk Cervini and former Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish, with additional album contributions from producer Nick Raskulinecz. <\/p>\n

Sanctuary<\/em> will be released digitally and on standard and deluxe CD formats, with a limited\u2011edition box set also available. A double vinyl edition is scheduled for September 4.<\/p>\n

Frontwoman Amy Lee said the album has been more than three years in the making and described the process as a creative outlet during a challenging period. <\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThis album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s overwhelming. <\/p>\n

“Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection \u2026 good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn\u2019t know what to do with myself now! I\u2019ve been completely obsessed. <\/p>\n

“I\u2019m dying for the fans to hear this.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band have also announced a 2026 world tour beginning on June 11, covering North America, the UK and Europe. <\/p>\n

Spiritbox and Nova Twins will join the North American dates, while Poppy will support the UK and European shows, with Nova Twins opening outside the UK. <\/p>\n

K.Flay, who appears on the band\u2019s recent single Fight Like A Girl<\/em>, will support the UK dates and the group\u2019s Red Rocks Amphitheatre performance.<\/p>\n

Evanescence have partnered with PLUS1 so that a portion of each ticket sold will support organisations providing humanitarian and medical aid worldwide. <\/p>\n

The band\u2019s recent singles Fight Like A Girl<\/em> and Afterlife<\/em> have both been well received, with Afterlife<\/em> reaching No.1 on Billboard\u2019s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and Mediabase\u2019s Active Rock Radio chart in the US and Canada.<\/p>\n
