There\u2019s nothing Bryan Cranston<\/a> won\u2019t do in the name of art.<\/p>\n This week, Cranston stopped by \u201cThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/a>\u201d to chat about the Hulu revival \u201cMalcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair,<\/a>\u201d which dropped Friday \u2014 nearly 20 years after the original series bid audiences adieu. <\/p>\n Colbert took Cranston on a trip down memory lane, revisiting all the wild stunts the actor would get roped into during the beloved comedy\u2019s initial run.<\/p>\n Cranston, who played Malcolm\u2019s dad Hal on the series, was strapped to the front of a moving bus, painted blue head to toe, drank a concoction of raw eggs and ground meat on camera and learned a disco rollerskating routine that he performed to Queen\u2019s<\/a> \u201cWe Are the Champions\u201d wearing a spandex jumpsuit.<\/p>\n When Colbert presented a photo of the Emmy-winning actor covered in bees during a Season 1 episode of the wacky family sitcom, Cranston recalled a rather unfortunate injury he suffered while filming the Fox hit.<\/p>\n \u201cI had 60,000 bees on me and I was stung twice,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd a couple things that you realize when you\u2019re wearing 60,000 bees, you should not be surprised if you get stung.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo when I got stung, I went, \u2018Oh, I think I got stung!\u2019\u201d Cranston said. \u201cAnd the bee wrangler \u2014 he\u2019s ready to scrape it off, right \u2014 he goes, \u2018Where is it?\u2019 And I go, \u2018On my scrotum.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd he goes, \u2018You\u2019re on your own.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Cranston, the stunt team was able to cover the actor in bees by using pheromones from the queen bee.<\/p>\n \u201cThey take it out on a little eye dropper, and they put it all over,\u201d he continued, adding that the team used insect repellent on his face to keep the bees clear from that area.<\/p>\n Colbert pulled out another series still of the actor who appeared naked and obscured by an open newspaper while his wife, Lois, played by Jane Kaczmarek<\/a>, shaved his back. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd here you are being shaved completely,\u201d Colbert joked. <\/p>\n \u201cAs one does,\u201d Cranston said. <\/p>\n
