Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly once called Sarah Ferguson<\/span><\/a> a “fat cow” as she struggled with her weight. Former Vanity Fair editor, Tina Brown, claimed in her book, The Palace Papers, that the former prince uttered the two-word insult to Fergie’s face.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Ms Brown wrote that Andrew<\/span><\/a> walked in on his ex-wife during a 2015 lunch meeting she was having with a US media executive at Royal Lodge, where she and her former husband used to live. The author stated in her book that Andrew asked: “What are you doing with this fat cow?”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In her book, Ms Brown said the US exec was “stunned” at Andrew’s “sadism” and thought he behaved like an “a**hole”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Ms Ferguson, 66, has spoken frankly about her weight<\/span><\/a> and eating habits in the past. She told The Today Show in 2015 that she was addicted to food before getting into shape.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The former duchess told the programme: “My addiction was food. I used it to suppress my feelings and therefore every time I went through something – a salacious lie the media might tell about me – I ate to compensate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “I got to a point where I just couldn’t bear looking at myself any minute longer.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She recalled weighing 13.57 stone (190 pounds) a year earlier, comparing the challenge of losing weight to the top of a mountain which appears impossible to climb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Ms Ferguson praised a ketogenic diet, which the former Duchess of York said had improved her health and weight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meanwhile, Andrew’s ex-wife continues to stay out of the limelight in the wake of the Epstein files release by the US Justice Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Congressman, Suhas Subramanyam, wrote to Fergie two weeks ago, urging her to give evidence<\/span><\/a>. She is not obliged to do so as she is not a US citizen. Being mentioned in the Epstein files is also no indication of any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
