\n\tAlabama Shakes<\/a> have shared the new single \u201cAmerican Dream,\u201d the second track the trio has dropped since their surprise reunion<\/a> in late 2024.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a snapshot of what we\u2019re living through in 2026,\u201d singer Brittany Howard<\/a> said of \u201cAmerican Dream\u201d in a statement. \u201cI look around and wonder how we got to a place where there\u2019s so much strain and so little support. I mean, it shouldn\u2019t be impossible to take off work so you can bring your child to the doctor\u2014that\u2019s actually insane. My hope is that one day people will hear this song and say, \u2018Yeah, shit was crazy back then, but we made it through.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
