An encounter at the mall led to Tiny Harris<\/a> and T.I. <\/a>establishing one of hip-hop\u2019s most iconic relationships.<\/p>\n The XSCAPE<\/a> member was on a recent episode of Rickey Smiley on the Spot<\/em><\/a> and looked back on meeting the 3-time Grammy winner, who she married in 2010. The couple share three children together<\/a> and separately have several older children from their previous relationships.<\/p>\n Harris recalled that she and T.I. originally met while at Jazze Pha\u2019s Noontime Studios in Atlanta but claims to have ignored the rapper while he was \u201ctrying to talk\u201d to her.<\/p>\n \u201cI blew him off or whatever,\u201d Harris told Smiley. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Close to a year later, Harris ran into the \u201cBring Em Out\u201d<\/a> artist at the mall while she was with her daughter, Zonnique<\/a>, who was roughly 4 at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cI noticed that he looked damn good. I still remember what he looked like, what he had on,\u201d Harris said, describing that T.I. had a \u201cPolo outfit\u201d and a \u201ccountry twang.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI talked to him for a minute and I end up going into Victoria’s Secret and he end up coming in there,\u201d Harris explained, adding that they ended up exchanging numbers in the lingerie store.<\/p>\n The singer also brought up T.I. seeing her in XSCAPE\u2019s music video for \u201cJust Kickin\u2019 It\u201d and plotting on meeting his future wife. The rapper also told the story during a recent visit on Hot 97<\/a>, joking that he planned to \u201cget that little one.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple\u2019s first date was at a \u201c$3 dollar caf\u00e9,\u201d where they ate chicken wings and talked in a parked car, with a young Zonnique also being present, before the two would go on to talk on the phone for months.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Harris shared that T.I. won her over during an early performance at former Bankhead venue Bounce and witnessing the crowd\u2019s reaction to the rapper\u2019s stage presence.<\/p>\n \u201cHe went on stage and every song the people in there were singing every word,\u201d she said. \u201cI’m just in there. But I knew it sounded good and I seen that the people was with him. Right then I said, \u2018Okay, he’s got potential.
