Lisa Kudrow says Hollywood agents considered putting her in romantic comedy roles following her success on the NBC sitcom, Friends<\/em>. But according to Kudrow, she didn\u2019t meet the criteria necessary to star as a leading lady in this particular genre of film.<\/p>\n While speaking to The Independent<\/em><\/a> on April 4, she said, \u201cThe agents and business people started circling, wanting to put me in romantic comedies and things.\u201d But according to the 62-year-old actress, she had a feeling it wouldn\u2019t pan out because of her appearance. \u201cI knew that wasn\u2019t gonna work,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m just not adorable!\u201d<\/p>\n Furthermore, Kudrow says that while starring on Friends<\/em>, she was often underestimated by her talent agency and made to feel like the \u201csixth friend\u201d rather than a central part of the show. \u201cNobody cared about me,\u201d she revealed in the interview. \u201cThere were certain parts of [my talent agency] that just referred to me as \u2018the sixth friend.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the lack of confidence from agents when it came to Kudrow\u2019s role on the popular sitcom, fans of the series were quick to defend her part on Friends<\/em>, claiming she was the most favored of the bunch.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere.
