The monarch not only stripped Andrew of his titles and honours and asked him to leave Royal Lodge but also made it clear that legal matters involving him should continue without any interference.<\/p>\n
However, a royal source said that the situation is more personal behind the scenes as Princess Anne has stayed in touch with Andrew and has even checked on him during difficult periods.<\/p>\n
The source also claimed that the Princess Royal has even considered offering the disgraced ex-royal a place to stay at her Gatcombe Park estate.<\/p>\n
“Among Andrew’s siblings, there’s an understanding that, despite everything that has happened publicly, their relationship with Andrew doesn’t simply disappear,\u201d the source said. <\/p>\n
They added, \u201cHe is still part of the family, and that carries a certain responsibility, even if it’s handled quietly and without any public display.<\/p>\n
