Bieber\u2019s late\u2011night set featured 34 songs spanning his early hits through his more recent albums, \u201cSwag\u201d and \u201cSwag II.\u201d At one point, however, he sat at a computer onstage and began playing YouTube videos<\/a>, according to SFGATE.<\/p>\n

He clicked on the music video for his 2021 hit \u201cBaby,\u201d let it play for about a minute, then switched to other older songs, repeating the brief playback pattern. For much of the segment, Bieber sang along with the videos.<\/p>\n

He later clicked through several viral clips on YouTube, including footage from his widely circulated \u201cnot clocking to you\u201d paparazzi confrontation.<\/p>\n

After the set ended, social media users criticized the performance, with some calling it \u201cthe worst<\/a>\u201d they had seen at the festival. Clips of the moment circulated widely online.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, but wait, he\u2019s sitting on a chair and playing videos of his own clips as background footage for his set???? I\u2019m blown away,\u201d one user wrote on X.<\/p>\n

In a video<\/a> posted on X, singer Katy Perry joked during the performance, saying, \u201cThank God he has Premium. I don\u2019t wanna see no ads.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other fans defended Bieber, saying the unconventional set felt more authentic and nostalgic.<\/p>\n

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival began Friday, April 10, and runs through Sunday, April 19.<\/p>\n
