Coi Leray<\/a> is in love.<\/p>\n The \u201cTwinnem\u201d rapper sat down with Baby This is Keke Palmer<\/em>, where the titular host asked Leray about her relationship with Justin Laboy.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn’t expect to be in another relationship anytime soon,\u201d Leray admitted, before indirectly referencing her ex, Trippie Redd<\/a>. \u201cI was very focused and locked in. Still very focused and very locked in. Coming from my last situation, I’m like, \u2018Nah\u2026me, my daughter, just work, nothing else. I am a robot. Don’t talk to me. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Leray and Laboy first met when he interviewed her<\/a> for #Respectfully: The Justin Laboy Show <\/em>last September. In that moment, sparks flew, with Leray noting that they \u201clocked eyes so crazy\u201d the moment she first saw Justin.<\/p>\n \u201cHe gave me mad flowers,\u201d she added, saying that she didn\u2019t know what to expect before meeting Laboy. \u201cI didn’t know what he looked like. I just knew that, \u2018Okay, I’m coming to release new music. It’s time to promote.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n After that, he tried asking her out, with Leray saying he \u201capplied pressure,\u201d but she avoided him for a couple of weeks. \u201cHe kept hitting me up. He’s like, \u2018Yo, I want to take you out. I want to take you out,\u2019\u201d Coi recalled. And I’m like, \u2018No, Justin. You’re not about to run a move on me. I don’t have the mental capacity to get my feelings hurt.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n However, she eventually caved to the pressure and they went on a date.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I fell for his personality. He’s the most funniest person ever. He’s such a good vibe. He’s such a good time,\u201d she explained. \u201cNow that we’re together, I’ve gotten to experience the way he pours into me.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I think that was the main thing that I fell in love with because I’ve never been with anyone ever that poured into me the way he did. It doesn’t feel like a competition. It doesn’t feel like there’s ego there. He doesn’t care if I’m more successful as an artist. And I don’t care if he’s more successful in media.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair first sparked dating rumors last September when Laboy posted a photo captioned, \u201cMy coi.\u201d That same month, Leray chatted with Laboy for his show, where she hinted that she was \u201centertaining somebody.\u201d In late January, Justin confirmed that he and Leray were still going strong<\/a> with a picture of them kissing on his Instagram Story, and in February, the couple sat down for a special Valentine\u2019s Day episode of Respectfully<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Prior to Laboy, Leray had a brief relationship with Trippie Redd in 2019 before they rekindled in August 2024. Then on Jan. 1, 2025, they confirmed they were expecting their first child together, a daughter named Miyoco.
