Britney Spears<\/a> is seeking treatment.<\/p>\n The pop star has \u201cvoluntarily\u201d checked herself into rehab, her representative confirmed<\/a> to multiple outlets on Sunday.<\/p>\n Spears\u2019 decision comes five weeks after her March 4 arrest on suspicion of DUI in Ventura, Calif.\u00a0She\u2019s due back in court on May 4.<\/p>\n Celebrity Intelligence with Dan Wakeford<\/a> was the first to report the news of Spears entering rehab. Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to EW\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n Last month, the singer\u2019s rep called her arrest “an unfortunate incident<\/a> that is completely inexcusable” and hinted that Spears might seek treatment.<\/p>\n \u201cBritney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life,\u201d the rep said in a statement. \u201cHopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n In the days before she entered rehab, Spears was posting on Instagram as usual.<\/p>\n On Saturday, the troubled pop star uploaded a video dancing in a sheer black bodysuit while covering her breasts with her hands.
