Dirty Dancing<\/em> star Jennifer Grey<\/strong> is wishing her father, Cabaret<\/em> legend Joel Grey<\/strong>, a happy 94th birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n Joel, who has a bevy of Tony nominations, played the Master of Ceremonies in the Broadway version of Cabaret<\/em>, as well as in the 1972 film adaptation starring Liza Minnelli<\/strong>. With everything from an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award under his belt, Grey is a veritable Hollywood legend. In honor of his 94th birthday on Saturday<\/a>, the actor joined his daughter for a sweet celebration that included a delectable dessert together. But it was her role as Baby, who heads on vacation in 1963 at a Catskills resort with her Jewish family, only to fall in love with the resort\u2019s dance instructor, Johnny Castle (played by the iconic\u00a0Patrick Swayze<\/strong>), that solidified her role as a superstar. The film became a staple for movie fans, and even scored an\u00a0Academy Award\u00a0for Best Original Song for its legendary love theme \u201c(I\u2019ve Had) The Time of My Life\u201d by\u00a0Bill Medley<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jennifer Warnes<\/strong>.
