The US President is known to be a huge fan of the Royal Family
\nand to hold a particular admiration for Queen Elizabeth II. But in
\nhis latest opinions on the royals, he has picked an unexpected word
\nto sum up the longest reigning Monarch in British history.<\/p>\n

Top journalist, Susan Page, has just written a book about
\nElizabeth II and the US Presidents who held office during her reign
\nand she\u2019s spoken to some of them in her research. She has now
\nrevealed that Donald Trump believed Elizabeth II to be
\n\u201dstreetwise\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a surprising quote from the book, the US leader tells Susan
\nPage that \u201dfor a person that was never on the streets, she\u2019s very
\nstreetwise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The US President had another one word summary of Queen Elizabeth
\nII \u2013 genius. He told Susan Page that, during his State Visit to the
\nUK in 2019, he had chatted endlessly with Queen Elizabeth II and
\nhad pressed her on who her favourite American leader was. He said
\nshe refused to be drawn and had said she\u2019s liked them all. He noted
\nthat he got the same response when he asked her about her favourite
\nPrime Minister. And he told the author \u201dI said to myself, how
\ngenius is this?\u201d<\/p>\n

President Trump spent several days with Queen Elizabeth II
\nduring the State Visit. They had met previously when he was invited
\nto Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

He shared that he felt the two of them formed a strong bond,
\nnoting that \u201dwe talked about everything\u201d when he paid his State
\nVisit to the UK in 2019. He added that \u201dwe just get along.\u201d<\/p>\n

The book also highlights other Presidential relationships with
\nQueen Elizabeth II, noting that she considered Ronald Reagan to be
\na friend and that she made more visits with George W Bush than any
\nother leader, paying a State Visit to Washington as well as hosting
\nhim in London.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s another surprising revelation and it\u2019s that Barack Obama
\nhas at least one thing in common with Donald Trump. Like the
\ncurrent US President, the former leader also pressed Elizabeth II
\non her favourite ever occupant of the White House.<\/p>\n

President Obama asked, during his own State Visit in 2011, \u201dwhat
\nabout Eisenhower, what about Kennedy?\u201d He got no further in finding
\na favourite that Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

But some revelations are slightly less surprising. Jill Biden
\nspeaks about her meeting, alongside Joe Biden, with Queen Elizabeth
\nII in 2021. They both noticed that as tea was served, Elizabeth
\nII\u2019s priority was sneaking a cheeky sandwich to one of her
\ncorgis.<\/p>\n
