Fresh from her Sunday night Coachella performance, Icelandic singer Laufey<\/a> dropped a star-studded music video on Monday that shows her slapping Heated Rivalry<\/em> heartthrob Hudson Williams<\/a> with a fish.<\/p>\n

The Warren Fu\u2013directed video for Laufey’s newly released song, “Madwoman,” sees the singer hosting a house party with some special guests: Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu<\/a>, The Summer I Turned Pretty sta<\/em>r Lola Tung<\/a>, and Katseye’s Megan Skiendiel<\/a> all arrive at her door.<\/p>\n

The group moves to the backyard for some poolside drinks as Laufey fights with Williams’ character over his exes (Bottoms<\/em>‘ Havana Rose Liu is shown on a magazine cover.) And that’s when the fish-slap moment happens.<\/p>\n

Naturally, Williams falls into the pool and uses the opportunity to take off his wet shirt, causing all the women, as well as the waitstaff, to helplessly stare at him.<\/p>\n

“Madwoman,” which was released on April 10 with the deluxe version of Laufey’s 2025 Emmy-winning album A Matter of Time<\/em>, is about wanting someone even if they’re bad for you. “Purely mythological, with the ugliest soul. You would think that he is holding me for ransom,” she sings.<\/p>\n

Williams plays the part of the man who has Laufey spellbound, which is fitting considering the actor’s popularity since the November release of the Crave ice-hockey romance.<\/p>\n

Laufey teased the video’s guest stars over the last week, revealing<\/a> Williams’ role on Thursday and leading the internet to dub the music video’s cast the “Wasian Avengers” (Laufey and all the guest stars in the video are half-Asian, including The Studio <\/em>star Chase Sui Wonders<\/a>, who also appears on a magazine cover in one scene.)<\/p>\n
