EASTON, Pa. \u2013 Help Easton Public Market blow out its 10th birthday candles with a full week of festivities.<\/p>\n

The downtown Easton market, at 325 Northampton St., will host a festive lineup of food, music, family programming, wellness experiences and special events from Friday, April 17, through Saturday, April 25, to mark a decade as \u201cone of the region\u2019s most vibrant gathering places for local favor, creativity, and community connection,\u201d according to an announcement.<\/p>\n

Events will be held inside the market and in the plaza behind it.<\/p>\n

The week-long celebration will kick off on April 17 with a performance by Acoustic Kitchen (6-8 p.m.) and the launch of the 10th Anniversary Taste of the Market Passport.<\/p>\n

Taste of the Market Passports can be picked up at the Highmark Farmstand, and individuals can collect a sticker at every Easton Public Market vendor where they make a purchase from April 17 through April 25.<\/p>\n

Each sticker earns you a raffle entry for the EPM 10th Birthday Giveaway, and individuals can redeem their entries and enjoy free birthday cake at noon on April 25. The drawing will be held at 12:30 p.m. (must be present to redeem and win).<\/p>\n

On Saturday, April 18, the market invites the community to the new Market After Hours<\/a> series with a performance by Deal, one of the region\u2019s top Grateful Dead tribute bands.<\/p>\n

The Market After Hours event will be held 9 p.m. to midnight April 18, and Mike Frank & Friends will get the night started at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10, advance; $15, night of event.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, April 19, Yoga in the Community Room will be held 10-11:15 a.m. The program will feature an all-levels yoga class with Sue Amato of The Valley Om set to the heartfelt music of Galen Deery ($25; bring your own mat).<\/p>\n

Also on April 19, the Sunday Song Series will be held noon to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Sunday Song Series, happening on the third Sunday of every month, showcases live music by talented local and regional artists with a focus on authentic songwriting and minimal covers.<\/p>\n

Each event features three artists performing one-hour sets, giving you the chance to discover new music and support independent musicians.<\/p>\n

This month\u2019s performers include Bob Noble and Mike Frank (noon), Pedro Depaula (1 p.m.) and Matt Olsson (2 p.m.).<\/p>\n

Other events scheduled for the week-long celebration include Drag Bingo (5-7 p.m. April 22); Earth Day story and a Snack (10-10:30 a.m. April 23); Easton Public Market Trivia Night (5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. April 23); Fourth Friday Plaza Party with the Joe Cirotti Band (5-8 p.m. April 24); and Cake & Coffee Celebration (11 a.m. April 25).<\/p>\n

Additionally, other downtown Easton events coinciding with the market\u2019s 10-year anniversary include Spring Into Easton<\/a>, an annual shopping and tasting crawl featuring 40 participating downtown Easton businesses, noon to 4 p.m. April 18; and a Princess Tea<\/a>, a whimsical afternoon for princesses and princes to gather for tea, snack to celebrate spring\u2019s arrival, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 18 at Bank Street Annex.<\/p>\n

The Greater Easton Development Partnership is the non-profit operator of the Easton Public Market, which opened in 2016 just off Easton\u2019s Centre Square.<\/p>\n

The market\u2019s newest vendor is Bincho-Don, an \u201cisland-focused takeout concept\u201d led by chef Kadon Barnwell, which opened in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A slew of other changes have occurred at the market over the past year.<\/p>\n

In December, Rod\u2019s Dogs \u2013 a popular spot for hot dogs, burgers and ice cream, reopened under new owner Jack Wallaesa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In November, celebrated Italian chef and “MasterChef” Season 4 winner Luca Manf\u00e8 unveiled a new chapter for his Easton Public Market business.<\/p>\n

Formerly known as Mangia Carne, the business \u2013 a combination sandwich shop, butcher shop and Italian market and kitchen \u2013 has been rebranded to Luca and Sons<\/a> to reflect Manf\u00e8\u2019s full ownership and personal vision.<\/p>\n

The market also welcomed around a half dozen other new tenants in 2025, including Crepes at Casa, offering sweet and savory crepes crafted with high-quality ingredients; Houseplanted, offering houseplants, plant care and plant-related design services; and Centre Square Cheese, offering a curated selection of artisanal cheeses, premium olive oils, gourmet charcuterie, kitchen tools and more.<\/p>\n

Other tenants include Chocodiem, The Modern Crumb, Green Vida Co., Highmark Farmstand, Mister Lee’s Noodles, Scratch, ThreeBirds Nest and Tolino Vineyards.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
