TMZ Hip Hop caught up<\/a> with Erykah Badu<\/a> after the Fashion Trust U.S 2026 Awards in Los Angeles<\/a> on Tuesday, but the conversation came to an abrupt end when the artist formerly known as Kanye West<\/a> was mentioned.<\/p>\n The interaction started off well. The iconic singer also shared a video<\/a> of Lauryn Hill\u2019s appearance on night two<\/a>, which she summed up as \u201cphenomenal.\u201d<\/p>\n Considering how complimentary Badu was about Ye\u2019s show on Instagram, it comes as a surprise that she would decline to comment when asked by TMZ Hip Hop.<\/p>\n Ye was set to headline the Wireless Festival in the UK later this year, but the event has been canceled after the controversial artist was blocked from traveling to the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Home Office has withdrawn Ye’s ETA, denying him entry into the United Kingdom.
