The Kansas City Royals<\/a> already have an All-Star shortstop in Bobby Witt Jr.\u00a0<\/p>\n But a large chunk of high school baseball draft prospects play shortstop and transition to another position in the minors.\u00a0<\/p>\n That’s the decision the Royals will have to make if they decide to move forward with Joel Reuters’ Major League Draft prediction for Bleacher Report. Witt is just 25 and is signed through 2034, so he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n Nonetheless, Reuters predicts the Royals will draft<\/a> the younger brother of the New York Yankees<\/a> No. 1-ranked prospect, George Lombard Jr<\/a>.
