Chmerkovskiy, 40, posted a heartfelt tribute to Johnson, 32, on Instagram<\/a> on Monday, April 13, in honor of their latest wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n“7 years, that the government knows about. To many more,” Chmerkovskiy wrote. “I\u2019m grateful to be loved by you and have the opportunity to love you, with exclusivity. Just me. Just mine.”<\/p>\n
He continued, “What a gift and honor it is to have a woman like you by my side. I never take it for granted and will always love and celebrate you.”<\/p>\n
Chmerkovskiy shared several sweet moments of the couple throughout their relationship, starting with a clip of a photo shoot when Johnson was pregnant with their now-3-year-old son, Rome<\/a>. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE<\/a> last year, Chmerkovskiy explained that communication and quality time are key in their relationship.<\/p>\n\u201cAs far as intimacy with Jen and our personal time, yeah, it’s hard,\u201d he said in April 2025. \u201cBut again, it’s just checking in with each other, communicating, making sure I communicate to her that I miss her and I need some attention, and vice versa.\u201d<\/p>\n
