Sombr dropped his debut album \u201cI Hardly Know Her\u201d on Aug. 22.<\/p>\n
The exquisitely-crafted breakup record somehow reads as both polished and raw; against all odds, Sombr has seemingly effortlessly married pop and garage rock. If you can\u2019t tell, we\u2019re fans. This is a young artist punching way above his weight class.<\/p>\n
Standouts here include the groovy opening track \u201ccrushing,\u201d<\/strong> disco dream \u201c12 to 12,\u201d<\/strong> and vulnerable breakout single \u201cback to friends.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\nStick around until the bitter end of the album\u2019s 38-minute runtime, too.
