Madonna<\/a>\u00a0stunned fans as she teased her hotly anticipated return to music, after a seven-year hiatus from the charts.<\/p>\n

The Queen of Pop, 67, has wiped her Instagram feed clean, fueling\u00a0anticipation for her upcoming new music<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her account now only features a blurred headshot as the profile picture.<\/p>\n

And the biography portion contains a recognizable lyric from her 2005 dance smash Hung Up: ‘Time goes by so slowly…’<\/p>\n

The track, which samples ABBA<\/a>‘s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight), was the lead single off the album Confessions on a Dance Floor.<\/p>\n

Madonna’s forthcoming LP has been dubbed Confessions on a Dance Floor II (COADF 2), with different iterations of the name flashing on her official website.<\/p>\n

As they anxiously await new music from the Queen of Pop, fans believe Madonna could be gearing up to release a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There have also been internet murmurs of the music veteran joining Carpenter on stage for week two of her headlining Coachella performance.<\/p>\n

It comes after a report that Madonna has enlisted\u00a0Britney Spears to make an iconic comeback on her new album.<\/p>\n

She is said to have reached out to the Princess of Pop, 44, in December and January in hopes of writing together and getting a studio session in.<\/p>\n

If executed, it would land 23 years after the blonde pop acts kissed on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and had a hit single, Me Against The Music.<\/p>\n

Sources have claimed Madonna believes Spears could bring something incredible to her new album, however the latter has so far refused to engage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An insider told The Sun<\/a>: ‘Madonna believes Britney is not just a brilliant artist, but a lovely person.<\/p>\n

‘They had a great time in the past working together and had touched on working together again.’<\/p>\n

In March Madonna\u00a0was seen glammed up as she appeared to film a scene for\u00a0season two of the AppleTV+ series The Studio alongside Julia Garner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The role on the upcoming installment marks her return to the screen after two decades.<\/p>\n

Her last major acting role was a voice part in the 2006 animated feature Arthur and the Invisibles, from French director Luc Besson.<\/p>\n
