When Justin Timberlake exited NSYNC in 2002, his fellow band member Joey Fatone claimed there were no hard feelings. However, there was one moment that Fatone wasn\u2019t happy about involving the singer embarking on his solo career. He opened up about the experience in the Boy Band Confidential docuseries airing on Investigation Discovery.<\/p>\n
According to E! News<\/a>, Fatone said the moment that upset him was \u201cwhen Justin [performed at] the MTV Awards\u2014and he performed for the first time\u2014and we introduced him.\u201d The singer admitted that he thought, \u201cThis is some bullsh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n However, he was more upset with management than with Timberlake. \u201cYou are basically just pushing us aside a little bit to do this,\u201d he said. \u201cBut yet, you still want us around to introduce him.\u201d<\/p>\n Although he didn\u2019t mind introducing Timberlake, he wasn\u2019t happy with the way the situation was handled. \u201cIt is totally fine. But talk to us. Have a conversation. Say, \u2018Hey, we\u2019re promoting Justin. He has an album out. Yes, all five of us are going on.\u2019 Nope, It was almost like the record company was pushing us away and making sure Justin was getting his due.\u201d<\/p>\n The Boy Band Confidential docuseries airs on April 13 and 14.
