According to Brooke Hogan<\/a>, HGTV toned down her behavior on Rock the Block<\/a> Season 7.<\/p>\n The competition series returned for its latest season<\/a> on Monday, April 13. The Season 7 premiere marked the first time celebrities joined HGTV pros to compete in a battle to renovate the best home in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n Hogan and her partner, Scott McGillivray<\/a>, beat out their competition to win the season premiere\u2019s bedroom suite makeover challenge. Upon tuning in to the episode, however, Hogan spotted some differences between what happened during filming and the show\u2019s finished product.<\/p>\n \u201cAlright. So, here\u2019s my take from the premiere,\u201d Hogan said in an Instagram Story video on Monday. \u201cScott told me what was gonna happen, \u2018cause he is an HGTV vet. He said, \u2018You\u2019re too crass. You\u2019re too much. HGTV brought you in as a wild card to add some spice. But everything you\u2019re saying is too much. They\u2019re gonna cut it out.\u2019 I was like, \u2018No. Hilarious. Of course they\u2019re not.\u2019 They did.\u201d<\/p>\n Hogan told her followers that she \u201csaid way more funny stuff\u201d while filming the show. \u201cScott is a professional, and he knew how to walk the line of being exactly, perfectly funny. He\u2019s perfect on camera. He\u2019s hilarious. He\u2019s a TV darling. No wonder everybody loves him,\u201d she quipped. \u201cAnd I just cried with a Botox, like the guy in the Adam Sandler<\/a> movie that can\u2019t drink out of a straw. So, [blows raspberries],\u201d she joked, adding, \u201cThank you guys for watching Rock the Block. I\u2019m exhausted from mom-ing and staying up late, so night night for Mommy!\u201d (Hogan shares twins with her husband, Steven Oleksy.)<\/p>\n While Hogan and McGillivray secured Episode 1\u2019s victory, they will continue to face off against fellow teams \u2014 Taniya Nayak<\/a> and Drew Lachey<\/a>, Mina Starsiak Hawk<\/a> and Vernon Davis<\/a>, and Kim Wolfe<\/a> and Chelsea Meissner<\/a> \u2014 in the season\u2019s remaining episodes.<\/p>\n During the season premiere, Hogan said she joined Rock the Block to get \u201ca fresh start for my life,\u201d explaining, \u201cI feel like I\u2019ve been through so much, and I\u2019ve been doing my design business quietly, and I kind of just let the narrative be whatever people want to say. It was actually my husband that inspired me to say, \u2018Brooke, you need to tell people your story, and you need to not be afraid to share it.\u201d<\/p>\n Brooke has run her own design business, BB Designs by Brooke, in Nashville for nearly 8 years. During a confessional, she got emotional while talking about her late father, Hulk Hogan<\/a>, who died<\/a> in July 2025.<\/p>\n \u201cI got called to do Rock the Block long before my Dad passed, but obviously, I didn\u2019t tell him that I had it because we weren\u2019t talking<\/a>,\u201d she revealed. \u201cBut I told my husband, I was like, \u2018I wonder if my Dad would be proud knowing that I\u2019m doing this. He was the one that told me to get my real estate license.\u201d<\/p>\n McGillivray later assured Brooke that her dad \u201cwould be super proud of you.\u201d She tearfully replied, \u201cI hope he is proud.
