Barbie Ferreira<\/a> is setting the record straight.<\/p>\nThe 29-year-old actress recently came across what appeared to be an edited image of her at the April 6 Faces of Death <\/em>premiere, and by her reaction, it didn’t make her happy. In her new movie, Ferreira plays Margot, a content moderator who stumbles upon what she believes are snuff re-creations of the deaths featured in the titular 1978 mondo flick. And in her interview with PEOPLE, she revealed that she found the character relatable<\/a> for several reasons \u2014 one of them being her \u201cfear of being perceived.\u201d<\/p>\nShe explained that the \u201cfear of being perceived, despite my entire life being focused on being perceived,\u201d was \u201creally relatable to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
But the thing she found \u201cmost relatable\u201d about Margot, Ferreira said, is the character’s “desperate need to fix a broken world that you can’t do yourself, but having this incredible calling and purpose to try to fix things that are completely unfixable.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ferreira went on to say that it’s easy for her to feel “bombarded with all of these horrible things all day, all over the world, on the internet.
