Local businesses have packed weekend schedules, and some even have options on Thursday and Sunday nights. The Intelligencer found 10 places where readers can get out and support local artists and businesses from April 16 to April 19. The Countdown: Thursday, April 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Matt Heaton<\/a>, who plays covers and originals, will perform at Big Daddy\u2019s from 6-9 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Skylark Brothers Band<\/a>, playing classics and originals, will perform at Stagger Inn Again from 7-10 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n DJ Carters will play at Backstage Bar & Patio from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The First Verse: Friday, April 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Sheafor and Simes<\/a>, who just headlined the Wildey Theatre\u2019s lobby dedication, will play at Big Daddy\u2019s from 6-9 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Billy the Kid, the group that describes itself as \u201cthe definitive Billy Joel tribute,\u201d is performing at the Wildey Theatre at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.; tickets are available at the box office and on the theatre\u2019s online ticketing site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Sacred Grounds Cafe will host its next Sacred Sessions from 5-8 p.m., featuring Warren Evans<\/a> with acoustic guitar.
