The launch date for\u00a0KISS<\/a>\u2019 Las Vegas avatar shows has been revealed, and it looks like the shows will include \u201cnew songs\u201d.<\/p>\n At the final show of their farewell tour in Madison Square Garden in December 2023<\/a>, the band\u00a0shared that\u00a0their \u201cnew era\u201d would involve live shows\u00a0where they would be replaced by their digital avatars. The holograms also debuted at that gig, where they performed \u2018God Gave Rock\u00a0And\u00a0Roll\u00a0To\u00a0You\u2019\u00a0after the real band left the stage.<\/p>\n Shortly afterwards,\u00a0Gene Simmons said that the avatars would \u201cget better\u201d after a less-than-enthusiastic public response<\/a>, and he said that \u201cabout 200 million\u201d dollars\u00a0was\u00a0being invested in the technology.<\/p>\n Production on the shows will be overseen by Pophouse Entertainment, the company behind ABBA<\/a>\u2019s acclaimed \u2018Voyage<\/a>\u2019 show, which has pioneered the digital avatar technology and\u00a0recently celebrated welcoming its four millionth visitor in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n Now, in an interview with\u00a0Pollstar Magazine<\/i><\/a>, Simmons and Paul Stanley have said the show is tentatively scheduled to launch in Las Vegas in 2028. It will be\u00a0Pophouse\u2019s\u00a0first US-based show.<\/p>\n
