Mark Wahlberg is working on a Pete Rose movie<\/a>. So, who should be cast in the film?<\/p>\n “We’re talking about doing Pete Rose, right now,” Wahlberg said during his April 8 appearance<\/a> on the “Throwbacks” podcast<\/a>, hosted by Matt Leinart and Jerry Ferrara.<\/p>\n He explained the movie would follow Rose when he’s older and returns to the Cincinnati Reds<\/a> as a player\/manager. Rose was a player\/manager from 1984-1986<\/a> and continued as the team’s manager after retiring from playing through 1989.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n “We’ve been actively developing (that movie) right now and speaking to filmmakers, so we’ve got a script,” Wahlberg said.<\/p>\n The Enquirer wanted to figure out which Hollywood stars would be great for the movie.
