\u201cDaily Show\u201d host Jon Stewart <\/a>laid into President Donald Trump<\/a> and Secretary of State Marco Rubio <\/a>for attending a UFC fight on Saturday, the same day that high-stakes negotiations with Iran were taking place in Pakistan. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cUnfortunately, he couldn\u2019t make it, because, I shit you not, he went to a UFC fight with Dana White,\u201d Stewart said Monday. \u201cNow, before you criticize the president of the United States for attending a UFC fight around the same time that America and Iran are locked in high-stakes negotiations in Islamabad, you do have to understand, he had fantastic seats.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Stewart then suggested, facetiously, that Trump opting not to attend the negotiations was fine because Rubio would obviously be on the case. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThe president didn\u2019t need to be in Islamabad; I\u2019m sure he can delegate some of the heavy lifting to his accomplished Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who, oh, is also at the fight. Come on!\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n A horrified Stewart then revealed that Vice President JD Vance was leading the delicate negotiations with Iran, which only lasted for one day. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWait, you went home, and you didn\u2019t even get a deal? It failed, and you just came home?
