Britney loves them both equally. They are her whole world,\u201d the source said, noting that Spears getting to spend quality time with her boys has been \u201can absolute gift\u201d and \u201cthe biggest joy\u201d for her at this time.<\/p>\n<p>While we\u2019re told Spears has \u201calways been in touch\u201d with her kids, having them live in Los Angeles has allowed them to grow even closer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re here because they\u2019re her sons and want to be, and they just want the best for her. This is her rebirth. It\u2019s super important that Britney doesn\u2019t come out of rehab and suddenly have all of these work things that she needs to do,\u201d the insider said. \u201cThe most important thing is that she is able to have the space and the time that she needs to feel fully herself again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Spears\u2019 children have been extremely supportive in the process, it\u2019s not immediately clear whether they plan to visit their mom in rehab.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s only just gone in and so now it\u2019s a process of her spending some time with her counselors and just working out what she\u2019s going to need to feel 100 percent better,\u201d the source explained. \u201cDUI aside, she was always planning on going to rehab now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page Six previously reported that Spears, 44, was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/05\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-arrested-for-dui\/\">arrested for driving under the influence<\/a> on March 5. <\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, the \u201cCrossroads\u201d actress\u2019 rep confirmed to Page Six that <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/12\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-checks-into-rehab-for-substance-abuse-weeks-after-dui-arrest\/\">Spears had voluntarily entered rehab<\/a> for substance abuse.
