Chatting with Rachel Sennott and Jordan Firstman<\/a> via Zoom felt more like FaceTiming close friends than conducting a professional interview, but maybe that\u2019s just me being parasocial because I feel like I know them from TV. The comedic icons\u2019 real-life friendship makes it easy for them to play chaotic BFFs in I Love LA<\/em>.<\/p>\n In our exclusive convo, Rachel and Jordan spilled the tea on I Love LA<\/em> season 2, teasing more sides of Maia and Charlie. We also touched on their current pop girl obsessions (they just casually met Robyn at a wedding), the BTS of their Venmo campaign<\/a> highlighting the Stash Rewards program<\/a>, and that instant classic photo of Rachel hanging with a star-studded crew at a recent Paul McCartney concert. Congrats on getting renewed! Is there anything you can tease about season 2? <\/p>\n Rachel: <\/strong>We\u2019re in the writers\u2019 room right now, and it\u2019s been so fun. Nothing super specific, but I’m excited to dig a little deeper with all the characters and see more sides of them. I think we got to set them up in a fun way. And now, we\u2019ll be revealing different parts of them that we haven’t seen yet and also putting them with other characters that have different perspectives into the world. I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun. <\/p>\n Betches:<\/strong> I miss Lukas already. He was a legend.<\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> I know<\/em>. I mean, maybe there\u2019s a dream sequence, a ghost story\u2014 <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> We bring him back to life. <\/p>\n Betches:<\/strong> Do you have a favorite memory from filming season 1? <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> Oh my god. Unlimited. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> Unlimited. I mean, the first overnight because that\u2019s when we all like locked in. It was the birthday party scene in the pilot.<\/p>\n Betches: <\/strong>I was rewatching the finale, and I really love that Addison Rae\u2019s \u201cFame is a Gun\u201d is in there. Which pop girls are you listening to right now? And are there any that you want in the soundtrack in the future? <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> Ohh. Right now Slayyyter\u2019s new album is incredible. I am obsessed<\/em>. Like track by track. The new Robyn album is incredible, too. Honestly, a Robyn cameo would be major. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> Incredible. I\u2019m addicted to her. I love her. And she\u2019s just fabulous in real life. <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> 100 percent. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> Like so chill. <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> We sat next to her at a wedding once, and she was so nice and you\u2019re just like, \u201cOh, you are the coolest person ever and no one will ever come close.\u201d<\/p>\n Betches:<\/strong> That\u2019s awesome.<\/p>\n Rachel: <\/strong>We were like, \u201cWe have<\/em> to be cool in front of her.\u201d<\/p>\n Betches: <\/strong>Okay, she has to make an appearance in the soundtrack\u2026 or on the show. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> Or both! Who knows?<\/p>\n Betches: <\/strong>Or both. So, your new Venmo spot is hilarious. How did your friendship dynamic shape that experience?<\/p>\n Rachel: <\/strong>Honestly, we had a damn blast. Because we\u2019ve been friends for so<\/em> many years and then on top of that, a lot of the crew were our close friends and our stylists were there, so it was such a fun set. Yeah, it was like the best time. <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> It was a dream. Like we\u2019re actually getting to do something for a service that we use all the time already, so we\u2019re not having to lie, which sometimes you do. It was easy to lock in because we actually know about it and use it. Venmo\u2019s that girl. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> I love Stash because I love like the gamification of anything. I like seeing myself get points. I selected a bundle for Uber Eats and things that I use a lot, and then every time I\u2019m using them, I\u2019m like\u2014<\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> It\u2019s free. Girl math. And our cards are pink. It\u2019s a conversation starter. Like you might have a cute barista who\u2019s like, \u201cOh my god, your card is pink,\u201d and you\u2019re like, \u201cDo you wanna\u2026 kiss?\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel: <\/strong>We have other colors too, but we both chose pink because we\u2019re a girl and gay guy.<\/p>\n Betches:<\/strong> What would you say your most toxic spending habits are? <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> Ohhhh. <\/p>\n Rachel:<\/strong> A lot of times we’ll do like a big group dinner with seven people or something, and then it’s like we’re not gonna torture and be like we’re all splitting it. So, then you grab the tab for everyone\u2026 But now you want to because then you get all the points. <\/p>\n Jordan:<\/strong> I think my toxic trait is letting Rachel pay for the dinners and not saying anything about it.
