Benjamin Bratt <\/b><\/a>had a few stipulations about joining Prime Video\u2019s raunchy new comedy film<\/a> Balls Up.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no full-frontal<\/a> that wasn\u2019t necessarily mentioned in the script,\u201d Bratt, 62, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>at the Balls Up <\/i>premiere on Tuesday, April 14, at Los Angeles\u2019 Harmony Gold Theater<\/span>. \u201cBut as we got on set, they were like, \u2018You know, you might want to.\u2019 [I was like], \u2018Nah, I might not wanna.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Bratt stars as Santos in Balls Up<\/i>, a \u201cover-the-top comedy\u201d in which marketing executives Brad (Mark Wahlberg<\/b>) and Elijah (Paul Walter Hauser<\/b>) pitch a condom sponsorship with the World Cup. The film, directed by Peter Farrelly<\/b>, also stars Eva de Dominici, Daniela Mechior, Molly Shannon, Sacha Baron Cohen <\/b>and Eric Andr\u00e9<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrad and Elijah go \u2018balls out\u2019 and pitch a bold full\u2011coverage condom sponsorship with the World Cup,\u201d the synopsis reads. \u201cAfter their drunken celebration in Brazil sparks a global scandal, they must outrun furious fans, criminals and power-hungry officials to salvage their careers and make it home alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

James raised eyebrows with his performance as Cameron during season 2 of The White Lotus, particularly in a memorable scene where Harper (Aubrey Plaza) accidentally snuck a peek at Cameron (James) [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bratt\u2019s Santos is the chief of the Brazilian delegation, who goes out partying with Brad and Elijah ahead of the scandal. In Farrelly\u2019s script, there was the possibility that Santos would strip down.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was talk of that,\u201d the director told Us <\/i>on Tuesday. \u201cHe was game for anything! We were going to have a joke there, but it was going to be a very quick one, but we didn\u2019t do it. It wasn\u2019t worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Bratt didn\u2019t drop trou for Balls Up<\/i>, he was open to a butt double \u2014 on one condition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I merely said, \u2018If you\u2019re going to use one, I get approval,\u2019\u201d the actor said. <\/i>\u201cI don\u2019t know if they used one or not. I don\u2019t imagine they had any need for one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farrelly, meanwhile, confirmed that a double wasn\u2019t used after all.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked about it earlier because he\u2019s, like, 63 years old, and he\u2019s going naked on a rope [course] thing,\u201d Farrelly explained. \u201cI thought, \u2018If he\u2019s anything like me, we better get a butt double,\u2019 and then he took off his shirt. We\u2019re like, \u2018This guy\u2019s chiseled.\u2019 I would put him up against any 63-year-old in the country. He\u2019s rock solid, so we did not have to get [a butt double].\u201d<\/p>\n

Even without stripping down<\/a>, Bratt\u2019s comedic chops impressed his costars.<\/p>\n

\u201cBenjamin Bratt\u2019s a real actor who\u2019s killed it in dramatic stuff,\u201d Hauser, 39, told Us <\/i>at the premiere on Tuesday. \u201cThen, he almost steals this comedy movie. It always helps you raise your game and be your best self when you\u2019re surrounded by good people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of his acting career, Bratt has found an equally fulfilling home life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a beautiful life outside of the business,\u201d the Private Practice <\/i>alum<\/a> gushed on Tuesday. \u201cYesterday, I celebrated my 24th wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife, Talisa [Soto]<\/b>, and guess who was along on our date? My two children. That\u2019s how close we are.\u201d<\/p>\n
