Three months after <\/a><\/span>Ashley Tisdale<\/strong><\/a> detailed her decision to exit a “toxic” celebrity mom group<\/a> in a personal essay, the “All About That Bass” singer shared insight into their<\/span> private conversation<\/span> in its aftermath.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I texted all of them,” Meghan\u2014whose friendship with Ashley, as well as fellow moms <\/span>Hilary Duff<\/strong> and <\/span>Mandy Moore<\/strong> had been documented online\u2014told <\/span>Us Weekly<\/span><\/em><\/a> in an interview published April 15. “Ashley texted me like, ‘I’m sorry, your name got dragged in.'”<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, “I was like, ‘It’s all right, girl<\/span>. T<\/span>he world’s a silly, crazy place, and they just want something to talk about.'”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meghan also said she “felt bad” for Ashley after reading her essay <\/span>in <\/span>The Cut<\/span><\/em>, in which the <\/span>High School Musical<\/span><\/em> alum detailed how she <\/span>exited the group after being repeatedly left out of social gatherings.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I felt bad that she was ever that sad, and I think it was just a lot of miscommunication and confusion,” the 32-year-old\u2014mom to kids <\/span>Riley<\/strong>, 5, and <\/span>Barry<\/strong>, 2, with husband <\/span>Daryl Sabara<\/strong>\u2014added. “I don’t know what happened, but I wish them all the best.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
