That kind of friendship\/work partner breakup is formative.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n W Magazine is launching W Youth and I love it. I\u2019m all for the expansion of media \u2013 more magazines, ezines, websites. I\u2019m curious to see the masthead on this, I think they will tap a top-tier nepo baby to lead it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The theatre-kid-energy level on this set will be unprecedented. Showtunes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The immediate bonding, the cliques, the bathroom breakdowns, the dramatic fallouts, the possible affairs \u2013 who is going to faint first at rehearsal?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There\u2019s an interesting shift in the most plugged-in outlet in tabloid media, TMZ. Their editorial approach is scoop, scoop, scoop and that is done with a lot of first responder, hospital and police contacts. I\u2019m not commenting on the ethics of this, but highlighting the machinations. They dig deep and have deep pockets and that\u2019s how they have maintained their position at the top of the fast food chain. If TMZ posts a story on a celebrity crime or death or divorce, I believe it. I don\u2019t trust their editorial-driven stories but the nuts-and-bolts factual stuff, like court documents, is reputable. Recently, TMZ has turned its attention to US political reporting<\/a>. I don\u2019t know what the long game here is but in the short term, the politicians with anything, and I mean anything, to hide should be afraid. This is brilliant and anyone who would scoff at this doesn\u2019t understand show business.
