Life can change in the literal blink of an eye. A true nightmare for a parent happened to us today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hopton-Jones recalled getting help from her husband when packing up their car for a quick trip with their daughter to get donuts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe helped Lily into the car and was waving goodbye between our car and Henry, who was in the garage. In a matter of seconds, our son was run over by our car. I was driving,\u201d she wrote. \u201cOur neighbors stepped in immediately and took Lily, and we rushed to the emergency room.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hopton-Jones confirmed that X-rays and CT scans showed no sign of injuries to Henry\u2019s \u201corgans or spinal cord\u201d or his legs, chest and neck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNeurological exam has been reassuring with no signs of head injury or impairment,\u201d she noted. \u201cHe does have fractures to his pelvis that will take time to heal, as well as a few abrasions. What stays with me is the doctor saying: \u2018He is hurt, but this is something he can recover from.\u2019 A true miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u201cWe are in shock. We are so sad. But we are so incredibly grateful. \u2026 I do know this has changed us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response, Kiser, 27, replied, \u201cI\u2019m so incredibly sorry \u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79.\u201d Kiser\u2019s show of support comes after the influencer\u2019s eldest son died in May 2025 after he was found unconscious in the pool at the family\u2019s Arizona home.<\/p>\n<p>Emilie\u2019s husband, <strong>Brady Kiser,<\/strong> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-moms\/news\/emilie-kiser-reflects-on-therapy-after-son-triggs-death\/\">was at the house with both<\/a> of their sons when the fatal incident occurred. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Emilie <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/emilie-kiser-talks-forgiving-husband-after-son-triggs-death\/\">took \u201cfull accountability as Trigg\u2019s mother,\u201d<\/a> adding, \u201cI know I should have done more to protect him. One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it\u2019s something I will never overlook again.
