Are you ready for flop season? Thanks in large part to recent Copenhagen Fashion Weeks<\/a>, as well as runways from the likes of Balenciaga<\/a>, Chanel<\/a>, Valentino<\/a>, and more, flip-flops<\/a> have become much more than just a trusty beach shoe. They\u2019ve gone high fashion<\/a>. And if there\u2019s one person who you can always expect at the front lines of any eccentric trend, it\u2019s Jennifer Lawrence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the Die My Love<\/em><\/a> star was spotted in New York City in a mix of patterns, fabrics, and fits, where her flip-flops ended up being the main attraction.<\/p>\n

For her casual outing, Lawrence wore a pair of busy floral-printed slacks, layered underneath a breezy black button-up, which she left mostly undone for a split-hem effect.<\/p>\n

When it comes to any Lawrence ensemble, the key is always the accessories, and here, she brought her A game, carrying a tan suede Diorly tote<\/a> from Dior, while stacking on some gold and black rope necklaces that she left to dangle across her chest.<\/p>\n

Up top, the actor also popped on some black Thistles sunglasses<\/a>, as well as a blue Citymeals on Wheels<\/a> baseball cap (keeping the celebrity merch<\/a> trend alive, but with a purpose).<\/p>\n

However, it was Lawrence\u2019s shoes that truly stole the show. Turning to one of her favorite brands, the Row<\/a>, the Oscar winner selected a pair of skinny red-and-black Dune thong sandals<\/a>, which tied everything together and also brought back Lawrence\u2019s beloved pop-of-red<\/a> styling trick.<\/p>\n

Just when you think Lawrence can\u2019t get any more chic, she manages to make flip-flops something fabulous.<\/p>\n
