\n\tMeghan Trainor<\/a> has canceled what was slated to be her \u201cGet In Girl\u201d tour, citing the difficulties of balancing work and family in the wake of welcoming a new baby.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pop singer shared a message on social media about the tour cancellation, apologizing to fans who were looking forward to the shows. \u201cAfter a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I\u2019ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBalancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe said that she understands that fans may be disappointed, but that \u201cthis is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I\u2019ll be back soon, and I can\u2019t wait for you to hear this new record. I\u2019m so proud of it, and I\u2019m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTrainor initially announced the \u201cGet In Girl\u201d tour last November and was set to kick it off on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan. She had stops planned for New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden and San Francisco\u2019s Chase Center, and was slated to wrap up the summer jaunt at Los Angeles\u2019 Kia Forum on August 15. Some people online suspected that low ticket sales may partly be to blame for the cancellation, as seating maps from last month showed that most seats at some venues had not been purchased.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn January, Trainor welcomed her third child with husband Daryl Sabara via surrogate, sharing news of their growing family on social media. \u201cWe are over the moon in love with this precious girl,\u201d she wrote. \u201cRiley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name. We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTrainor is currently gearing up for the release of her seventh full-length album, \u201cToy With Me,\u201d on April 24.<\/p>\n
