A trailer for Brad Pitt<\/a>\u2019s new survival movie, titled Heart of the Beast<\/a><\/strong>, was shown at CinemaCon.<\/p>\n Heart of the Beast is a forthcoming movie that is being directed by David Ayer<\/a>. Starring Pitt, J. K. Simmons<\/a>, and Anna Lambe<\/a>, the movie is being released through Paramount Pictures<\/a>. A release date has not been set.<\/p>\n The first trailer for Heart of the Beast was shown to those attending Paramount Pictures\u2019 CinemaCon panel earlier today. The footage hasn\u2019t been released online; however, several descriptions of the trailer have since emerged.<\/p>\n Variety<\/a> writes, \u201cPitt stars in the upcoming film as a former Army Special Forces soldier\u00a0who has gone off the grid, but must return to civilization after his small plane crashes deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Pitt looks like he gives a haunted performance as a man struggling with PTSD, but the true standout may be the retired service dog who protects him from bears, wolves, and other beasts\u2026In Heart of the Beast, [Pitt\u2019s- character and the dog have to climb over dizzying mountain peaks and ford raging rivers in a desperate attempt to stay alive.\u201d<\/p>\n Ayer and Pitt previously worked with one another on 2014\u2019s Fury, a World War II movie released by Sony Pictures that also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pe\u00f1a, and Jon Bernthal.<\/p>\n Ayer began his career in Hollywood as a writer, as he worked on the scripts for projects such as 2001\u2019s Training Day, 2001\u2019s The Fast and the Furious, 2003\u2019s S.W.A.T., and more.
