\n\tThalia reeled in Los \u00c1ngeles Azules, Yuri and others for her very conceptual all-cumbia album. \u201cI feel that it\u2019s a moment of celebration, and cumbia is exactly that,\u201d the Mexican singer, who will receive the Icon Award at the 2026 Billboard Women in Music Awards on April 29, said to Billboard<\/em><\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s a party, family, memories, roots, neighborhood, and it\u2019s just a project that\u2019s so dear to my heart. It\u2019s part of me growing up in Mexico. Cumbia is a big part of our DNA.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRapper Nanpa B\u00e1sico also taps deep into his Colombian roots for his album, where he sings about identity, love and heartbreak alongside all-Colombian collaborations including Kapo, Camilo and Kris R. Meanwhile, Baby Rasta y Gringo, Greeicy, Young Miko and Maluma have all released new music this week.<\/p>\n
