I’m A Celebrity<\/a>… South Africa<\/a> star Seann Walsh<\/a> has opened up about camp ‘villain’ David Haye<\/a>\u00a0– and insisted there’s ‘no camp feud’ among the celebrities.<\/p>\n

The comedian, 40, became the first casualty of this year’s All Stars series after being chosen for elimination by Harry Redknapp.<\/p>\n

After these scenes played out last night, Seann appeared on Friday’s episode of This Morning to reflect on his journey in the camp.<\/p>\n

Unlike the Australia-set series, South Africa was actually pre-recorded in September 2025.<\/p>\n

Alison Hammond<\/a> and Dermot O’Leary<\/a> asked the ousted campmate about retired boxer David Haye.<\/p>\n

It comes after David, 45, made controversial remarks about his partner Sian – and also clashed with Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Seann discussed retired boxer David Haye, 45, who has sparked controversy among viewers of the ITV show with controversial comments<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, he also memorably sent Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard to the inferior Savannah Scrub camp during episode one.<\/p>\n

Seann said of his former co-star: ‘David Haye, I think sometimes he forgot he was on one of the biggest shows in television.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘He thought he was in a WhatsApp group with close friends.’<\/p>\n

Seann added: ‘But, no, everyone got along when I was in there.’<\/p>\n

Days before the comedian’s departure, Harry Redknapp and Jimmy Bullard made their entrance as late arrivals.<\/p>\n

The pair were branded ‘Kings’ and made captains of rival teams – the Lions and Rhinos respectively.<\/p>\n

Harry selected Ashley Roberts, David Haye, Sir Mo Farah, Scarlett Moffatt and Seann Walsh to join the Lions.<\/p>\n

Although after they ultimately lost the face-off, Harry had to pick one of his own teammates to leave camp for good – and opted for Seann.<\/p>\n

Confirming there’s no ill-will, Seann said of this: ‘It was difficult for Harry, he\u2019s forced to get rid of one of us.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking at an event following the episode’s release, Harry said, according to The Mirror: ‘So there was a comedian in there called Seann Walsh. Nice guy.’<\/p>\n

Harry went on to explain how Seann had told him the show was ‘great for his profile’ and was hoping to do well in the series by lasting a long time on the ITV format.<\/p>\n

However, Harry was tasked with sending one of his co-stars home, after first attempting to choose himself, only to be told that as ‘King’, he had to choose from one of his ‘subjects’.<\/p>\n

Harry continued, admitting he’d spent a long time thinking over the decision: ‘I get into camp and I feel terrible and by the time I get there I have got to tell them who I am sending home.<\/p>\n

‘So I’m not gonna send David Haye home, he might knock me out, and I am getting on great with Mo Farah and the girl on the next bed to me was Ashley Roberts. A Pussycat Doll. I’m not sending her home!<\/p>\n

‘She teaches me how to do yoga at 7 o’clock in the morning.’<\/p>\n

Seann became the first casualty of South Africa series two – after being selected to go by Harry Redknapp<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Harry went on to say he had been ‘dreading’ breaking the news to Seann, due to the pair’s prior conversation about Seann wanting to be there.<\/p>\n

However, in his worry, the football legend had Seann’s name go ‘completely blank’ out of his mind – accidentally referring to him as ‘Stewart’ instead.<\/p>\n

The other campmates informed him of the mistake, with Harry remarking of sending home the comedian: ‘He will hate me’.<\/p>\n

‘I am dithering and I said “I’m sorry Stewart. I am going to have to send you home”, afterwards they all said “Harry, his name is Seann”… he will hate me,’ Harry concluded.<\/p>\n

Harry appeared to realise the mistake later on, as he could be heard calling Seann by the correct name – and apologised to him.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, David Haye tried to cheer Harry up by saying: ‘I always thought it was Shane Walsh.’<\/p>\n

Harry replied: ‘I thought it was Stewart didn’t I? Did you hear that, my mind went blank. I lost the plot.’<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Ant and Dec played into the blunder for laughs during their segments.<\/p>\n

The presenting duo joked afterwards that Seann’s hotel room was under the name ‘Stewart Walsh’ – and was booked by Harry.<\/p>\n
