Pop icon Madonna<\/a> confirmed rumors that she\u2019d perform at this year\u2019s Coachella festival, taking to the stage during Weekend Two of Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>\u2018s headlining performance on Friday night.<\/p>\n The \u201cLike a Virgin\u201d singer materialized on stage as Carpenter sang \u201cJuno,\u201d during a fan-favorite moment when she would usually \u201carrest\u201d a celebrity, according to Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/p>\n The intergenerational pair delivered a duet on Madonna\u2019s 1990 smash \u201cVogue,\u201d before turning to a new song believed to be from Madonna\u2019s upcoming \u201cConfessions II\u201d LP, Rolling Stone reported.<\/p>\n Then, Madonna, whose career spans four decades, took the mic, addressing the crowd and fans watching at home.<\/p>\n \u201cSabrina, thank you so much for inviting me on your show,\u201d Madonna said.<\/p>\n A clearly elated Carpenter replied, \u201cNo thanks needed, Madonna. You can have whatever you want.\u201d<\/p>\n Madonna continued, saying she had a \u201cfew things I wanna get off my chest.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTwenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed, Confessions on the Dance Floor<\/i> Part One in America,\u201d she said. \u201cThat was such a thrill for me, so you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later in the same boots, the same corset, the jacket I had on earlier, the same Gucci jacket. So, it\u2019s like a full circle moment, very meaningful for me.\u201d<\/p>\n The pop legend then conducted a \u201csurprise\u201d astrology lesson, according to Rolling Stone.<\/p>\n \u201cSo in all circumstances for the rest of the month, let\u2019s try to get along,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cthe great thing about music is that it brings people together, am I right?
