Iron Maiden<\/strong>\u2019s long-awaited induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will arrive without the band in the room. <\/p>\n

According to an email sent to Billboard by manager Rod Smallwood, the group has confirmed it will not attend November\u2019s ceremony in Los Angeles<\/strong>, opting instead to stay committed to a run of tour dates already locked into their 50th anniversary schedule.<\/p>\n

The decision comes down to timing, not sentiment. Smallwood made clear that the band\u2019s calendar leaves no practical window for a transpacific detour<\/strong>. \u201cAs the most observant have already noticed, the band will be on tour in Australia around the November date of the Induction ceremony,\u201d<\/strong> he said.<\/p>\n

The message from the Iron Maiden camp is consistent with a career built on relentless touring. \u201cIn accepting, Iron Maiden made it very clear to the R&R HoF that the fans always come first and that the shows will of course go on.\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n

The scheduling conflict, as reported by Ultimate Classic Rock, effectively rules out a full-band appearance,<\/strong> though it leaves open the possibility that a representative could attend on their behalf.<\/p>\n

For ticket holders, the reassurance is explicit. \u201cWe would like to assure all our fans in Australasia that the Australian and New Zealand dates will remain unaffected,<\/strong>\u201d Smallwood added.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s ceremony is set for November 14<\/strong> at the Peacock Theater. Iron Maiden joins a diverse 2026 class that includes Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan<\/strong>, and Joy Division\/New Order<\/strong>, marking one of the more stylistically varied lineups in recent years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
