Cardi B<\/a> has expressed that she wants to release an album in her first language \u2014 Spanish<\/a>.<\/p>\n On Sunday (April 12), during the Charlotte, North Carolina stop of her Little Miss Drama Tour, Bardi told fans that she plans to record an all-Spanish project.<\/p>\n “You know I speak money in English and in Spanish, bitch. After this album I’m putting out, I’m going to the Spanish market. I ain’t talking no more English. Hola!” she told her audience. “It\u2019s time to get the Spanish money, bitch. Back in 2022, she told Angie Martinez about her desire to record in her native language<\/a>, though she admitted it made her somewhat nervous.<\/p>\n “I feel like that\u2019s more pressure to me than anything, because it’s, like, that Latin world\u2026 They want it, but I feel like it’s not as easy as people think,” she said. “‘Cause it\u2019s like, ‘Oh, you speak Spanish, you can just do a Spanish song.’ No. ‘Cause they\u2019re a little bit different. That\u2019s, like, a different world right there. But I wanna try it. f**k it.”<\/p>\n She revisited the idea in 2024, when she took a poll on her Instagram Story, asking followers what they thought about her dropping a Spanish album.
