Nia Long<\/a> has graced Playboy magazine<\/a> for the first time.<\/p>\n The legendary actress, who\u2019s been considered one of Hollywood\u2019s biggest sex symbols for years, posed for the magazine\u2019s Spring 2026 issue in a pinstripe dress, floor-length fur jacket, and fishnet tights. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n When discussing how she\u2019ll deal with the inevitable scrutiny that\u2019ll come with starring as Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson, Long revealed how she\u2019ll \u201cprotect her sanity.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNo one can interfere with my sanity. That\u2019s number one,\u201d she said. \u201cI learned a long time ago that you cannot be successful in this industry if you listen to the noise and the distractions. And the one thing that I am very, very, very protective of is my peace. Because in order for me to do what I do, I have to commit to that first.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAlthough there will be noise, and there will be things that are out of my control. Listen, everyone\u2019s entitled to their opinion, but I\u2019m here to interpret a story, to represent a woman, to represent a mother, to represent a Black woman who, in my opinion, is the real hero in all of this,\u201d Long added. \u201cI know what it\u2019s like to be a mom carrying the weight, and when I think of grace, I think of Katherine Jackson.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared her \u201cmost precious\u201d Michael Jackson memory, which happened at a Stevie Wonder show.<\/p>\n \u201cI was walking up a flight of steps, and as I was headed down to the stage, in walks Michael Jackson with John Singleton. He was like, \u2018Hi, Nia Long!\u2019 I literally couldn\u2019t speak,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, Long spoke about whether she\u2019s dating and revealed that she doesn\u2019t \u201clike that word.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like that requires me to go out and do something. I do think that if you\u2019re looking for a partner, you have to be actively out there in order to meet,\u201d she explained. \u201cBut I am not in that space right now. I\u2019m really focused on my kids, my work, and my girlfriends, and going out and having a good time. \u2026I like to get up and do what I want to do when I want to do it.
