April 18 (UPI) —<\/span> Pop music legend Madonna<\/a> has announced plans to release a new album this summer.<\/p>\n

“Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II – July 3 2026,” the singer posted on Instagram<\/a> this week.\n<\/p>\n

Her last album was 2019’s Madame X.<\/i><\/p>\n

The news was met with celebratory comments from several other artists.\n<\/p>\n

“Seated Mother,” wrote music star Katy Perry<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’m so ready,” said Ozark<\/i> and Weapons<\/i> alum Julia Garner.<\/p>\n

“Let’s Dance!” Entourage<\/i> actress Debi Mazar agreed.<\/p>\n

Madonna also performed<\/a> her hits “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” with headliner Sabrina Carpenter at the Coachella music festival in California Friday.<\/p>\n

“I have a few things I wanna get off my chest. Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed, Confessions on the Dance Floor Part I<\/i> in America,” Madonna told the crowd.<\/p>\n

“That was such a thrill for me, so you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later in the same boots, the same corset, the jacket I had on earlier, the same Gucci jacket. So, it’s like a full circle moment, very meaningful for me.”<\/p>\n
