Fans young and old enjoyed a brand new trailer for “Street Fighter<\/a>” \u2212 and there’s a Florida tie.<\/p>\n\n

The 2026 reboot of the live-action film inspired by the “Street Fighter” video game stars Noah Centineo and “Aquaman” and “Justice League” actor Jason Momoa. The movie also features wrestler-turned-actor Roman Reigns, a WWE star and Pensacola, Florida, native. Reigns’ real name is Joe Anoa’i. The trailer was released April 16 at CinemaCon and via YouTube.<\/p>\n

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the movie is the latest film adaption of the iconic Capcom video game<\/a> by the same name. The second trailer dropped Thursday, April 16, six months ahead of its theatrical release date.<\/p>\n

Reigns\u00a0is set to play the character of “Akuma,”<\/a> a legendary antagonist in the series hellbent on mastering the “Satsui no Hado” (or “surge of murderous intent” for those familiar with “Street Fighter” franchise). Akuma aims to be the strongest warrior in the world.<\/p>\n
